COVID-19 Update

03/17/20

Just to keep everyone up to date regarding therapy: First and foremost–WE ARE OPEN and are still accepting new patients. But that being said, therapy is never worth your life. No one has died from not having physical and occupational therapy. You might be stiff, but you have exercises at home and even without this virus going around, you have been expected to do them. So do them. (What else are you going to do?)
Secondly, I want to you be aware of the precautions we are taking to keep our staff, therapist, and other patients safe.

  1.  We are asking you to wash your hands immediately after arriving into the clinic.
  2. We ask that if you have a fever/cough/sniffles/etc to Please stay home.
  3. We will be avoiding use of anything that can can not be sanitized. This means no nice soft ice packs, putty will be in a Ziploc bag, no paraffin, no rice or bean buckets (I can hear the cheers).
  4. We will continue to use fresh clean towels, sheets, and pillowcases for each and every patient (we have always done this and always wash in hot water).
  5. We will sanitize the seat and space after each patient. Please wait to come back to the table until we do this. 6.)
  6. We will not double patients (which we have always tried not to do anyway). This might mean your appointment might be a little shorter. 7.)
  7. Please avoid bringing other people (wife, husband, family, kids, friends, etc) to your appointment. The less people here, the less potential for transmission.

That is it for now. It is a new and ever changing landscape. Please continue to check our website & our Facebook page for the latest info. I will stay open as I can. We can get through this and will. Everyone stay safe and healthy–Nancy
